I wish they'd bring back the "Kevin Butler Returns" video just for this event. This is the personality Sony should be re-channeling.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I and most of the folks that I know have always been pretty loyal to Microsoft, avoided the hell out of Sony for the current gen due to their shitty launch of the PS3... and everyone I know has looked at the Xbox One and thought "fuck that, I'm going with the PS4." I'd even given up some…
Brand loyalty did not help Sony this generation.
The Xbox One needs no one to watch it, for it is always watching you.
After all the 'let's have DRM' talks on these major consoles, I'm rooting for the OUYA.
"Want an Xbox One but have little-to-no internet access?
Reminds me of when Sony said people would work a second job if they really wanted one in response to the PS3's ridiculous launch price. In fact Microsoft in general reminds me of Sonys attitude back then. Which is bizarre really. At least it made sense for Sonys ego to be inflated. They had just come from a generation…
The thing that bugs me a lot more than the DRM stuff is how Microsoft handles answering these questions. I hate using the term, but they really do come off as elitist. Like people who don't have a steady internet connection are somehow beneath them. They don't have to accommodate you plebeians, you damn dirty…
Primary issue that I really didn't like was the fact that I am uncertain of what will happen in the future when they decided to stop supporting the system. Are these servers still available after the Xbox One's time has passed maybe 1-2 generations or so. Will I be able to still play games with it? Can they or will…
It just occured to me, stores won't be able to have xbone kiosks...
I'm curious to see how long MS sticks to their guns with their policies. I have no doubt all this DRM bullshit can be disabled. I'm curious to see if they'll do it or just not give a care. I'm also curious to see how well it sells and how the general public reacts. Shall be an interesting generation.
You know, even if I'm in an area where there isn't any cellphone coverage, and I roam, I can still download games when roaming. And then play them offline when I'm at home without coverage. I mean... my phone doesn't disable all of its own software when it goes out of cell tower reach.
I feel like hackers will come along and disrupt the servers so no one can play, and then post online "See what happens when you make online connection a requirement?"
Ok Microsoft, thanks for making it so easy for millions of your customers.
Get it folks? don't buy it, lets all just go to PS4 where we can play offline.
Let the mass exodus of 360 owners begin...!
Xbox servers go down. Xbox One isn't being sold any more. You can't play your old disc-based Xbox One games any more because you cannot connect online. All the games you own will be gone.
A Heartfelt Breakup Letter:
Dear Microsoft,
I used to be a Playstation fan. My Ps2 library is still my largest library of games to date, but the Xbox 360 just offered SO much, and your lineup of games was SO good that I jumped ship. I never purchased a PS3 this generation and missed out on a lot of games that I wanted…
Alright. Barring the discussion about how your games are licensed to your console and your console alone, and have to be verified once every 24 hours to continue to work, and assuming you will always have an online connection that will always be on and Microsoft's game servers will never go down during the console's…
That would have been amazing; just as a joke before they went and played all the demo reels and whatnot.
Some people like getting their butt fingered by strangers, others find it offensive.
Youch.
