Now that’s some dedication.

Pretty much anything by Diana Wynn Jones, but I may have had the most fun reading this one.

Not a dog, but my parents’ loveably fat cat Tenchi.

Yes, it’s obviously an exaggeration to say that anything preceding a “but” in a sentence is a lie.

While it seems like the thing to do, it breaks down quickly if you continue the process over more than a few generations. The last names just keep piling up!

I love the canines and the white patches on her feet. She looks a lot like a very friendly cat who lives in my neighborhood and tried to get into my car (!) a week ago.

I haven’t met a carpenter bee yet (as far as I know), but now I’m eager to.

How can someone become a medical doctor and not understand allergies. How does that happen.

Yeah, the fidelity leaves something to be desired. Unless you have really great repair mechanisms, maybe....

That’s not so much a DNA issue as a big, messy, not-well-understood neurological issue.

It’s pretty great! My family moved to Orcas when I was ten, and it certainly made for an interesting childhood/young adulthood. I’m a bit sad that this will probably be my last summer on the island for quite a while - going off to grad school in the fall.

This particular experience sticks out in my head. It was just so mystifying.

Oof. Feces/vomit/urine/other bodily materials are always some of the worst.

At least in my experience, it’s pretty fast and loose in regards to tip amount. There might be some guidelines out there somewhere, but in general, I’m happy to even get a tip (although the handful-of-loose-change tips can be somewhat aggravating.) A lot of people just don’t tip, even at the small and expensive inn I

Oh my gosh! I’ve certainly seen my share of sex toys (left on bedside tables usually) but I’ve never had anyone leave it actually IN the bed. Thankfully. So grateful for gloves and other protective wear.
