I don’t know where you’re getting $1500 from. I bought mine for $1,200 and that was 2 years ago. I'm not really looking for a good battery life (I'm always plugged in) and having a laptop is great because I can bring it to wherever I'm going. It's for gaming afterall!

Finally abandoned the idea that desktops are more powerful and (overall) better than laptops. Boy, was that the best decision of my life. It’s been over a year since I got an MSI Ge70 Apache Pro-012, and it still runs most AAA games maxed out 60+FPS. Has an Nvidia 860m, w/ 12 GBs of RAM, and an Intel i7-4710 CPU.…

...and yet neither card recognizes Minecraft.
