I do not like your reasoning, and here is why;

The 100 also gives you 5 back in gold points. Zelda and Smash are 69.99 where I live (69,99 even :p) so you save 40, but also get 7 in gold points. That is in total, 52. Which pretty much buys you a whole game. Or twenty games in the eShop with all the sales going on...…
