I have this (sinking?) feeling there’s gonna be some “cloning” retread here...like the Palpatine from TPM through ROTJ was always/at some point a clone, and this Palpatine in TROS is the real Palpatine who’s been biding his time in the Unknown Regions, lightly pulling strings, waiting for his big comeback.
