I bet the actor doesn't want anyone to know that...

IDW: and I mistyped it - it's "Illyria: Haunted"

The sex scenes between Renly and Loras struck me as pretty tame in comparison to the sexual situations involving women. It's try that there isn't sexual brutality towards men in the book, but the show really ought at least to be more willing to show full male nudity (other than Hodor's flaccid member) to balance

Wait a minute: my impression is that the real Buffy is pregnant, and that Robo-Buffy was mimicking her pregnancy. Probably just read the damn thing too quickly...

Illyria leaves this dimension in one of the canonical comics; "Illyria: Haunter." I've read that they did this so Illyria would be gone once Buffy rids the world of magic in Season 8. I'd love to see her again, too: great character.

I hope that if this is true, Cumberbatch won't be made to affect a fake Montalban accent. At least the pics available now don't show him with long Montalban hair baring a much less impressive version of the Montalban chest. Say it with me: Montalban!!!!!

I hope this Serenity story bodes more post-movie storylines - a real ongoing series with an over-arching storyline supervised by Joss would be ideal - a la Buffy seasons 8 and 9, the parallel Angel and Faith series, and Angel: After the Fall. The Operative indicates that the revelation of Miranda only wounds but does

I'd love to see that also. I want it all!

My main problem with TDK is that I thought the script was overstuffed. Many good ideas, but many of them seem stuffed in for their high quality rather than their actual contribution to the arc of the film. It will be hard to surpass Heath Ledger's performance - the only time I've watched a superhero film and thought

I stand by my declaration. And no, Alien 3 doesn't count - he was one of a group of screenwriters and had no control over what ended up on the screen.

This combo could be really great for Trek. Fuller has proved himself of bringing humor and wonder to high-concept genre projects, and Singer has proven himself capable of executing compelling action. When you put all that together, that's the heart of Trek. Trek faltered when it lost its capacity to insert genuine

Trouble is: Fuller has done a few failed fantasy series (all of which I really liked, by the way), and I fear he won't be given another chance. Star Trek has an immediate drawing power: it would be heavily advertised and bring in viewers and give Singer a chance to prove his brilliance.

I'd say that TDK is not a great film (I was seriously underwhelmed), but Heath Ledger's performance did set a the bar for a truly first-rate acting performance that happens to be of a comic-book character...

Kick Ass, easily...

Everything Joss Whedon has ever made is better than TDK...

Clearly, Robin Williams has this disease...

I had *very* high expectations going in, and was still dumbstruck at how good this movie is. Every moment was pitch-perfect, and it's not just a love letter to horror, but actually says some very insightful things about the genre...

The film intentionally poses as a film with the most over-used premise in the genre - only to surprise you by being a film of a very, very different kind. A brilliant, risky move on the part of the creators, but well worth it. Don't let anyone tell you what this film is really about: part of the experience is

"Attack of the Beast Creatures" is far, far worse. For example: the film recycles the same three very poorly executed shots of the tiny, completely non-threatening beast creatures literally dozens of times...

Couldn't disagree more: "The Road," for me, is the purest of post-apocalyptic narratives, in the sense that it strips the trope down to its essence, its fundamental framework: no names, no explanation for the apocalypse, nothing left but the bare will to survive and question of whether there can be conscience in the
