Sure people reported issues with cod and unity. But you saying they were both completely busted is not accurate. There were many people in this site in both the articles reporting issues on both those games that didn't have any issues. I am one of those people.

Gotta disagree. AC3 is a gem. Yes there are issues, but it's an extremely engrossing game. Just replayed it and found myself enjoying it even more the second time around.

Just curious, did you click the "optimal settings" button? When you say default i'm not sure if you just mean what you get on boot. Optimal settings may not give you all the bells and whistles, especially if your PC isn't relatively beefy, but I doubt you'd encounter the stutters and skips you mention.

I would suggest using the optimal settings button if people haven't. Generally, cards are optimized based how well they perform with various options configured. That is the purpose of this button. If your card is meeting the min spec than optimal setting accounted for it. I bet people encountered really bad issue…
