I dropped out of this game earlier this month (if you click my Kotaku name, you can see a short essay as to why) and I’ll be honest, this short story update and how it is handled seems like it more than justifies my concern with the game. The game is the best it will ever be right now, which means it’s only going to

Short answer: nope

I have beaten The Alliance Alive... TWICE! (Some day I’ll get the capture on my 3DS to work again, and finish my LP of it.) I enjoy it as a well realized high fantasy world that pits demons, beasts, and mortals against themselves. It has some interesting characters and a very solid ethereal soundtrack. Despite this,

More proof that with MMOs are much like are hometown.  You can always return to the place on the map, but you can *never* return *home*.  I’ve felt this with several MMOs, like the 7 years I played FFXI or the 5 years I played EQ2.  Seasons change.  People move on.  What once held us to a place fades into obscurity.

“Clopping.”  Not fucking, clopping.

I feel like Life in Aggro’s struggle is still real, but the joke itself hasn’t aged as well because the max level hasn’t been 50 for ages. It’s 70.

One day later and they are $27.50 and $60, respectively. Frustrating. :/

People who are interested in the wellness of Mr. Davidson inveritably do so in part out of empathy and in part because, as an individual in the spotlight, his struggles mirror those who do not have that benefit.  Telling Mr. Davidson to off himself, or that his struggles aren’t important, is also telling a million

Username checks out.

Just flag and dismiss.  It’s not even worth engaging in.

Why would you treat a cow like that?  WHY?!

I am glad to see the 3Ds is still getting some love and play, although I know its time is coming to an end.  Sad, because it feels like it is the last truly portable handheld.  My 12 year old has a Switch, and after replacing those joycons for him twice the entirety of its portability is “from room to room” - it isn’t

Never even heard of this game before this announcement, and now that I’ve seen it, I’ll probably grab it.  Would love to try an original style Ninja Gaiden throwback about now.

OK, but what if the school is a demon school, and the flat chested young demon is actually 1470-odd years old?  Asking for a friend.

TBH I was just punning around because that’s just me but it’s not like you’d have to look very fur to find animal puns in a fandom about anthropomorphism.

Is it safe to say

They always told me “Yiff in hell;” I was like “OK, but I’m going to do that here on Earth too.”

To be fair, I’ve always wondered why the women in these games seem to be absolutely allergic to clothing. A strange thing, since these are just illustrations and not actual people, but I personally wouldn’t want to slay demons in my langerie and I just don’t feel that’s the most tactful or tactical thing to do.

Would you like to talk to an anthropologist?

What a time to be alive.
