Is the DS version any better than the SNES version? I'm not sure which version I should play (I've never played it before).

You may be right. Something about that middle part just dragged on a little too much. I really had to force myself through some of the puzzles.

I actually just had to finish it in one day. Then co-op the day after with my girlfriend.
