Good point! I never fully knew what an indemnity clause meant but I knew i had to have one in every contract I did. I still include them in my (non entertainment related) contracts today.

Oh yes, def. I meant on even a less grand scale than that. He didn’t seem to really know what was happening at ALL with the event. Just that it was going to be a party and that it was going to make him a lot of money.

UGH, why didn’t Pelosi invite him to speak Feb 16th?! Then it goes past his stupid little arbitrary deadline and if he acted out again she could cancel him again. Now he can speak AND shut the government down and Trump wins again.

As a former agent, it all depends on the client. I sure as shit always investigated anyone who I had never heard of and advised my clients accordingly. But some agents, and some celebrities, are just like “If they wire the money, let’s do it.”

Pretty sure Kris Kardashian is one of those celebrities.

The age of all of them except Ja Rule, who was 42 years old and has toured internationally and should’ve known better. Not that I would ever expect a celebrity clinging to his last grips of fame to pass up an opportunity like this appeared to be.

Just spit water on my computer, thank you for that. I want this on a tshirt, stat.

I LOVE OREO THINS!!! I am a fan of the OG oreo so when my boyfriend bought the thins I turned my nose up at him.

Then I tried one. And by one I mean about 3/4 of the package. Those things are small and mighty.

I represented him years ago, before Parks & Rec, and gotta tell ya, SUPER nice guy. Obviously, fame might’ve changed him but back in those days he’d come sit in our offices and just chat about the most mundane shit. Usually we hated when actors did that, it’s like “GO HOME, you’re just sitting in my office showing me

Right? I got so lost in the paragraph about who was saying what about whom and who was who’s parent and who was the kids in question.

Then I realized how much brain power I spent (aprox 45 seconds of it) on these meaningless humans which is about 46 more than I should’ve spent and I guess the joke’s on me.

First President to take on China? From where we’re sitting in Europe this “America First” bullshit has the Chinese going “WOO HOO! Now we can stop worrying that the US will butt in and check us when we get too China First and just go ahead and be our greedy selves!”

The US is in for a very rude awakening but it won’t

seriously. who ARE these people who have so little to be happy about in their own lives that they scoff and dismiss a murder like this? Is this where we are now? I expect the lack of humanity from our stupid ass “President” but this site is full of good people. Go home, Troll. (not you, I applaud your comment, but the

Anyone following this story about the child care center on the Hill they used 12 million (taxpayer) dollars for? The funds for this facility were secured by Kevin McCarthy, REPUBLICAN.

They’re happy to use tax money to pay for their kids childcare, but healthcare being paid for by tax payer dollars is socialism? Oh,

European airlines. I’ve had salmon, scallops, bass, and shrimp on flights to/from Scandinavia. It’s quite common. (not that I think this makes what happened to Bethenny right, just answering your question)

I loooove his books! Yeah, I would like to do that (and it’s what I recommend to every expat coming here) but with my job, I can’t. And I can’t take a leave of absence because my skilled worker visa requires me to be getting a certain income a month. So, twice weekly classes (and speaking to my boyfriend’s 4 year old)

hahaha yes this is so true! You have to do things like join a mushroom picking club. I teach pilates so I joined a studio and teach 3 classes a week but I think I did this wrong bc they now they think of me as the authority. I have had one of my regulars add me on facebook and before she would even send a friend

Thank you! It is. And it makes me feel like a crazy person how I can go visit the US and start feeling normal only to get yanked back into it once I return to Norge and the visit is over. I convince myself every time I come back “It’s not THAT bad” but then darkness comes and swallows me back up again (both literally

Yowza!! Now my morbid fascination wants to see it to see that.

Yeah, I know one expat here who actually likes it, everyone else says they’ve accepted it but they would rather live in the US. (of the people I know, I’m sure there are some people here somewhere who are American and love it, I just haven’t found them) I lived in Australia for 2 years and it wasn’t nearly as

hahaha, did you give up one and from what country? Having a Norwegian boyfriend makes this slightly easier for me bc he’ll be moving to the US with me but if all hell breaks loose we still have a connection here. (likely will get married before we move)

Both. The language is a huge barrier and Norwegians are very insular and are somewhat intimidated my foreigners. I read about that before coming to Norway and (arrogantly) thought to myself “I’LL be the exception! I’ll have so many Norwegian friends!” After 16 months here I have 2 friends: one American and one
