Yeah, whimsy is good, in moderation. I don't need every epic story to be about saving the world (on the contrary) but I do like some "gravitas" in my stories. Something where I can punch the air or whisper "awesome" under my breath.
That's why I like Ms Marvel so much. It's funny and fun but also brings weight to its

Seconded.

What is it with all those Marvel books over the last few years copying that Marvel Now (was it that?) era of Daredevil, Hawkeye and FF. Those were admittedly the books that got me back into comics (together with New 52) but I've tried some of them and they just leave me cold story-wise. Most of them feature fantastic

Yeah, I've noticed I enjoy those kind of game worlds more. Ones where I can explore every nook and cranny and end the game feeling I really saw it all and "know" the game now. It's a feeling that's much harder to acquire in an open-world game as a little part in the back of my mind goes "you missed a spot". Not

Was it on PS4? You can draw with your stick or with the touchpad. I've found that drawing a circle works too, Any closed loop really.
A third way through the game in single player and so far the Archer is the most fun. I really want to play with this three players though, it's the exact kind of role-division I like

Great description. Very close to how a friend of mine described it to me but not as eloquently as that second part of yours.

Don't have a Switch and Breath of the Wild, but I don't think I've ever vicariously experienced a game as thoroughly as then. I tried not to read spoilers but the excitement and sheer joy of discovery were very infectious. It's that emotion I seek for in any medium, be it comics or games or movies, and I was very

Couldn't join last week's WAYPTW because I was … gaming all day with 2 friends that came over during the extend holiday weekend. It was a good day mostly playing Helldivers and Fifa. I wanted to play Trine, bought the trilogy dirtcheap in the sale, as it seems perfectly tailored for 3 players. But one of my friends

Don't know Mister Miracle that well, except for his cartoon appearance in Justice League, but I'm definitely getting this comic. The art looks fantastic as well so I'm hoping it will become as consistently amazing as The Vision.
Had high expectations of The Omega Men as well but that first issue didn't capture me at

Why'd you dislike The Vision?
It's been one of the most gut-wrenching comics I've read in years and hands down the best one I read last year. The team nailed that dreadful atmosphere and King's writing was soulful.

It's a comedy first and foremost and it does a great job of being one.

I will actually give them a listen then! Thanks.

It is in the same way the first 3 Uncharted's were. Those were around 10-12 hours as well, which is the length Lost Legacy seems to be. They've reduced the price to 2/3 of the normal price to accommodate that which I think is fair.

So very excited to play this next week. I'm just finishing up Rise of the Tomb Raider which is a remarkably well-executed game and goes for a more RPG-approach than the Uncharted games. Love running around and collecting doodads but at times, I caught myself wishing for something more straight forward.

Sounds similar how they would put anything new that came out a few years before in the garage rock category just because they all had "The …" names.

That was a very enjoyable, grounded interview.
And then I thought "wait. is this the same guy from that basketball-incident? Huh."

I think you're extrapolating something there he didn't say at all.

I've seen that show as well! I didn't know he was that well-known. It was my only trip to the States so far (semi-work related) and I figured I needed to see a magic show as well.

Happy to hear this is good.
That 30 second promo-reel on Netflix is so insultingly, shoddily filmed (bad photography?), I was getting scared for the show.

I do to be honest. It's nice to feel like a part of things, however irrational it may be.
Thanks for the avatar shout-out! Truly appreciate it!
