Yeah, reading the second book took me about 3 months. The location nor the "mystery of the director" were that interesting to me. I stopped reading just before it got really good actually near the end. Everything up to that, could have been condensed in about half the page amount. The prose itself is still good but,

Finishing up Acceptance, the third book in the Southern Reach-trilogy. The second book, Authority, was for the most part lackluster and only at the end does it pick up and deliver a thrilling finale. I finished it last week and immediately started the third, that's how compelling it was.
I might not "get it" but the

Windjammers looks like the 2D version of Disc Jam to me. That game was free on PS Plus and I play it sometimes with friends. The controls are too varied and trickshots are hard to pull of but in essence, it's really simple. The online connection is terrible so I don't know if I could recommend a purchase.

Better than my name. It's supposed to be my initials but it's easily misinterpreted.

Thank you. It really goes to show that good, three-dimsensional characterisation really deepens everything, the story and your enjoyment of it. Seeing Geralt laugh or open up, was probably the biggest shock/twist in the game for me.

I can see that, but many people keep saying the story in Blood & Wine is really good and Hearts of Stone has really solid missions.
The right choice is whatever you want to play but I wouldn't be surprised if you feel it itching again in half a year or something. Seems likely to happen to me.

That's an interesting set-up. We never tried to re-load/back-up ammo support. Usually my friends have 1 or 2 mechs with them and I run around with the jetpack, clearing the missions and reading the map. It's a good way to better at communication but unfortunately, when I'm shooting aliens and I have to guide the team,

Doing okay. It's high season for events so I'm spending a lot of weekends away from home. We also had 2 crises but thanks to a great team-effort and partner-support, we were able to sort it out. So many emails and phone calls and car drives. Hopefully July will be more mellow.

Logan.

Enough Space For Everyone: Read through the whole book in one sitting, a lot of lovely stories and some of the writers and artists are bound to do great things. The middle prose-piece was also really good, evocative and grounded place-building. Too bad the print quality wasn't the best, it looks slightly out of focus.

"Used to" doesn't mean "when the game was released". Maybe they meant 3 or 5 years ago?

Pet Sounds. It's one of my favourite albums, period.
Never been a big Beatles fan so I can't say if it's better.

I was reading up on Alienation and it was described as similar to Helldivers but more chaotic with lootboxes, both aspects that I don't enjoy. I like how strategic and deliberate Helldivers is but it can descend into chaos as well. The friendly fire really doesn't help in situations like that but it's a lot of fun to

Oh yeah, I love the fighting system in Sleeping Dogs, it's challenging to master but loads of fun when you do.
I played Arhkam Asylum for a few hours so I remember the "R-stick aims outward towards your enemy" to be the same as in Sleeping Dogs but seeing as I quit that game for some reason, probably wasn't as deep as

I don't really mind. When I look at all the work and hours it takes to make a game, I'd be very suspicious of any triple-A game that's finished in less than 2 years. It's not just the coding but the writing and creative process. When you have games like Assassin's Creed where the creative process is next to nil, then

I seem to remember reading that The Last Of Us 2 would be for 2019 but hey, if it comes in 2018, even better. Does seem rather fast though.

Completed The Witcher 3 main storyline a week and a half ago (don't think I've posted here since then…). Reading up online, I think I got the "best" ending aka the bittersweet one where Ciri is alive but goes to Vizima to become empress.
All in all, the whole finale was okay but it was only at the cutscene flashing

Turns out, it's not a coin toss. I bought the TNO locally and it's dubbed as well with the menus translated. I can understand it but it feels stupid to not play it in English.
Guess DOOM is first then.

Wasn't there also Old Blood after The New Order? I've read playing the prequel first is recommended but I'll see.

Yeah, I have the same feeling about it really but in stead of not caring, I'm somewhat curious now. Still need to play the Arkham games but the fighting system is the same as in Sleeping Dogs right?
