I see your point and it’s absolutely true if you start thinking about it. In my head, the game kinda waves this away by not having Batman show any real symptoms until you’re on the way to Wonderland in that linear level. Before then, you’re feeling fine and there’s no real sense of impending death. Plus, Batman can’t

I agree that Asylum is the better experience. It’s tighter and the island felt like a real place, I loved discovering the shortcuts and passage ways into other areas later on. It was cohesive, used Batman and his gadgets well and was wel written.

Came back on Tuesday after a lonely game-less week only to be too tired to play anything so I just zoned out for an afternoon. The next day was my day off and after a nice forest walk, I got back into Batman Arkham City. The game clicked and now I’m thoroughly enjoying the story, city traversal and puzzle-like combat

Frostpunk sounds cool but I could only play This War Of Mine for a week before it drained me of all hope and joy. I restarted twice after failed runs before I couldn’t take it anymore. Ideally the game would be played in a rainbow-coloured gummy landscape filled with unicorns and carebears. That might offset the

I’ve only every played the first half hour-hour or so of Undertale but that’s the first time I’ve heard that take on the game. Interesting how some stuff can be quirky, tongue in cheek for one person and insulting for another. I bounced off the bullethell fights and finding out after my first fight that a pacifist run

I had a big break before the finale in The Witcher 3 as well. Had a blast collecting all the plans for the different Witcher gears. Upgraded all of them fully, at least the ones from the base game.

Thanks for the tips. I play Fortnite on my PS4. Dont own Into The Breach so you might confusing me with somebody else.

As a giant Fortnite fan, I was thinking about that one too but I kinda want some different coloured Switch. Plus, the skin isnt all that great.

Ive been away working an event since Tuesday and will return home on Tuesday. As Im gone from home a whole month totalled in a year, this is why I wanted to get a Switch but I cant get myself to pull the trigger.

Charlie?

Nevermind, I read the original quote and it’s 200 divorce petitions from the 4,600 this one company has received thus far. Confusing wording in this article.

There’s around 100,000 divorces every year in the UK, meaning 200 divorces represents about 0.2% and not 5%.
Is it so hard to expect the smallest bit of verification or factual accuracy?

In the end, I wouldn’t say it was worth it. The core gameplay is just completely different, it being a racer and all, plus apart from some cosmetics here and there, it’s just race after race. There are 8 variations though, so it’s not all “be nr.1".
The story is not that great or interesting. Cutscenes remain

Even a bad game can have a positive take-away, in the end you always learn something, even if it just critical analysis of why something didn’t work.

I swear I only pressed the publish button once. If you can, please delete one of them, AV Club!

Now playing

This week, I played through a good part of Pyre. Turns out I was not mid-way but quarter-way into the game. My mistake (would have been a really short game too otherwise). I’ve now done my first Liberation Rite (take care, Rukey!) and played some more rites since. Cool how the game opens up to you, in several ways.

Well-deserved well done on the move! I hope it’s all and more you wished for!

Dear lord, yes, just jam it right in my veins please.
As you can tell from my avatar, my all-time favourite comics visuals still come from Aja’s work on Hawkeye.
