Valterri just seems like a solid ass dude. He was a fantastic #2 at Merc, and he deserves a seat in F1. He’s not very flashy though, so I’m always worried he will get shuffled out for younger shoutier talent.
Cheap used Maserati’s are the greatest terror on unsuspecting dopes. Forums for the Ghibli specifically are full of people who looked and saw “i cAn gEt a MaSeRaTi fOr tHaT MuCh!” and subsequently had their lives ruined.
For my money, the Granturismo is one of Maserati’s nicest designs. They’re also dirt cheap to buy after a few years. I assume they’re maintenance nightmares, like all Italian cars, but still...

Gatekeeping also needs to die.
This “built not bought” shit. Don’t get me wrong, backyard skills and DIY is awesome. And everyone should learn a little maintenance knowledge at a minimum. But this notion that paying someone to do the job correctly makes you less of an enthusiast or even worse, a lesser person, needs to go away. If it’s money that…
Here’s a complete list of all of the non-routine maintenance that I’ve had to do in almost 90k miles of driving my 435 hp 2015 Mustang GT:
