The decline and fall of NASCAR has nothing to do with “wokeness” or inclusion or anything like that. It has to do with races that are too long, too contrived, and have too much down time.

Imagine a little Mazda 3 hatch that you could thrash around a racetrack for one minute, then stop off and stock up on groceries on your way home? It will go anywhere that isn’t snow. We use its grandad as a utility thing and it will not get stuck in 6 wheel drive...unless you are in snow then it’s completely hopeless.
