My guess is Snoke gave him the opportunity to be something greater than his father, mother or uncle. Heroes of the galaxy, and the Rebellion. That’s a heavy cross to bear when you’re following in their footsteps - but rebelling? Going in the direction they rejected? That’s something he can excel in.

Mara Jade still exists in the canon thanks to FFG, though she may or may not have the same role, or even be a Force user, but the character is still there. It’d be nice for some fun things to make their way back in.

Right now you can complete the crucible portion (which is very, very hard, harder than Thorn was) by just completing Sparrow Races.

The Chapperone requires two body shots to kill in Crucible, or one headshot. It has significantly longer range than the rest, because it’s the game’s only slug shotgun. It’s amazing, and it requires a lot of skill to use well.

Destiny also has one of the best shotguns out there right now - The Chaperone.
