We’re not privy to what exactly caused the USA to be split. All we know is that DC was bombed, and FDR was assassinated. It’s up to us to imagine what happened in between those differences and the point of the show beginning. Even the V-A Day episode doesn’t get into it.

You raise a good point. The differences are hit on high points. We’re left to use our imagination on what happened between then and the time the show takes place.

The idea that Japan and Germany could have won WWII, much less invaded and occupied the U.S. is so beyond all believability.

I’m going to assume you didn’t like Mad Men either?

It’s good to see Parkman getting other... The same? Jobs again.

Seriously. The Phantom Menace has three redeeming qualities - The Darth Maul lightsaber fight, Liam Neeson’s performance, and the pod race (though the contrivances that get us there are ridiculous). Literally everything else in that movie is terrible. You can never show someone Episode I and II, III, and IV-VI all

AKA “The Good Prequel.”

I don’t like him making fun of people, and I don’t like him talking shit. And he’s never talked shit to my face. I know he’s definitely gotta have issues, ’cos the average person doesn’t behave that way.

Fallout 4 takes place before Fallout 2, does it not?

Jaaku. It’s not Tattooine.

Io9 needs to start using a header image for all their Force Awakens coverage that doesn’t include the thumbnail from the movie.

If they had made it raw, stock, totally Google-controlled Android, I think they’d be better off.

I think my dealership tried to sell me it at $400-ish. I’m averaging 29mpg if I’m on the highway usually.

The fact that they’re doing this AND not forcing you to waive your right to sue is kind of a big deal IMHO. Its a real, serious, mea culpa with the “We’re willing to keep talking to you if you’re still upset” as well.

What’s the recommendation on the carbon scrub anyway? I was never recommended it on my 2007, but they recommended it almost immediately on my 2012.

Neill Blomkamp can direct an adaptation of this pretty please:

Can you imagine 18,000 people streaming onto the streets while everything else was happening? It would have been further chaos.
