I’m surprised In the Line of Fire doesn’t get more weekend basic cable love - it’s perfect for that slot. Definitely one of the great stand-alone thrillers of its time, alongside movies like The Fugitive. Great performances all around, especially Malkovich having the time of his life.
“to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone”
I noticed that too, seems like a very deliberate bit of wordsmithing from a very experienced PR person LOL. This press release seems like Warner Brothers has assumed ownership of the crisis mitigation process for this situation, should be interesting.

It’s wild about Powell, too: every movie he does, the buzz is always “Man, this guy is a star. He’s going to blow up.” And it just... never happens. Maybe he needs to just land in an MCU movie for that next step to happen, because these days that seems to be what it takes.
Leave Harrison Ford out of this. He may take just as many flights, but he crashes them half-way through so the overall emissions are much less.

She’s gonna lead them to the Super Bowl. I guarantee it.
Yeah I was gonna say, since when has the industry ever tied rights to the people who come up with concept? It’s about who ponies up the cash. Stallone signed a contract, and it was certainly not an “unconscionable” contract because he was well compensated, he has derived great rewards from it all, and now he’s…
Or maybe some of the enquired had milk delivered to them while others had “milk delivered” to them, if you catch my drift.
Crystal Skull as a shockingly terrible movie on two different levels. For one, the movie, even before cameras started to roll, was already terrible. That’s the direct fault of the one-two punch of a terrible story by George Lucas and terrible vision by Spielberg. I can’t help but feel both are just too drunk on hubris…
I hope she’s in a good place with her mental health, but it always feels a little... gross (?) when it seems like somebody is trying to monetize a mental health crisis as part of a book tour/PR comeback. None of this also seems to reckon what it seemed like was the widely held opinion across the industry that she was…
It is not.
