Yay for Emma Mackey! She’s so compelling to watch. I hate Branagh but will see it for Emma and French & Saunders.

Watched Project Power on Netflix. It wasn’t terrible. Had a little humour too. The great part was Dominique Fishback. Wow, what a star. So charismatic. Can’t wait to see her in Judas and the Black Messiah.

He’s a little tall for it but Ezra Miller could pass for him.

He’s also a producer, and owns part of, The Good Doctor. So he’s fine.

Love him for The Commitments. That film is one I always beg people to see if they haven’t. The music, the brilliant writing, the heart of it. Just an absolute gem. I can never forget the name Imelda Quirke.

It was playing at TIFF and a friend invited me to go with her. I mocked her before the movie for buying tickets for something that sounded so lame and after had to spend days apologizing and acknowledging her genius.

Is Fast and Furious amazing though? I thought Old Guard was great, but not a fan of the FF movies, so hard to say if you’d like it.
