I assumed the apartment was rent-controlled. Driver has lived there forever and had a roommate, then met Scarlett and she moved in.

It was a good film,with some great moments, but I didn’t buy Timothee as Laurie for one second. He’s a great actor but looks like a boy. Jo looks like she should be his babystitter.

I first watched this with my nieces when they were 12 and 14, and we loved it. It became ‘our’ movie and now that they are grown and killing it out in the world, I watch it and think of them and wish we were together.
