Honestly, young SecondCopy kept thinking he was Robert Pine from CHiPS when he saw this in the theater.
It was as if we got half-Lynch, not 100% pure Lynch. And half-Lynch just doesn’t work, it’s kinda like wearing a Darth Vader mask and jorts on Halloween.
No doubt, while everyone else was freaking out over the Emperor and everything else in TRoS, i was thinking, “she is totally fit.”
transition into the actual song itself (“Dark Side Of The Moon”) was a neat thematic touch
Me, reading this article:
I’m going to use my experience at Big-Box-Hardware-Store as a proxy for the movies: yes, standing around the house, there’s a lot of projects I need to jump on. So I head to Big-Box, take one look at the packed parking lot, and decide it can wait another week.
I’ve been trying to sort out a ranking of the sequel trilogy in my head and it’s... not easy. But expand the list to all five of the Disney-era films and Rogue One is definitely at the top, full stop, no questions asked.
“50 million for the 250 GTO? But KBB clearly says only 20 million!”
Agreed, it’s a ridiculously good-looking cast. I would have thought Isaac a bit too young for the Duke but he looks just fine.
Well said. As others have pointed out, there’s probably insurance/bonding/liability concerns to think of, and I’m sure the staff has been in contact with local and state authorities for a while now.
That little reaction shot / fourth-wall break is quite likely my favorite Eddie Murphy moment of all time.
Anyone remember Music Construction Set for the Apple II, from Electronic Arts? Back before they were EA and all-Madden all the time? You basically dragged and dropped musical notes onto a staff and it played the the music back to you. Revolutionary stuff back then.
I’m starting to think getting old = constant state of bewilderment. On the one hand, almost every sentence in this (long) article left me more baffled than the last. On the other, duh she’s hot and that has never gone out of style.
This. Atypical for sure, but that doesn’t mean untrue.
Expanse fan checking in.
I think you’re spot on. The (bare) paper goods aisle at my store (HEB) is basically two tall shelves for those 12/24 packs. I can’t even think of the last time i saw a four-pack.
