@PeterNincompoop: Vote libertarian? Oh hell no. Libertarianism is as flawed an idea (if in the exact opposite sense) as Communism is. It assumes too much about human nature. Or perhaps too little, depending on how you look at it.
@Volanova: If there were counter-points that disproved what Gizmodo posted, perhaps you or others that are voicing your displeasure over this post should post those counterpoints.
I wonder if I can buy some of these? I host couch surfers from around the world, so installing one of these in my apartment would be awesome.
@boomer: amen to that
@nick111: When did modifying a piece of equipment that is privately owned (whether by you or contracted by someone for you to do to theirs) become illegal?
I played this at PAX this year for a good 30 minutes and was quite impressed. It's a really fun and unique game.
Too bad freezepop have terrible singing voices. I've heard them at PAX several times over the years and listening to them is just cringe-inducing.
This makes me sad. I wanted a bigger, higher-res screen and, with a larger body size, a better battery. Guess I'll be getting an Epic 4G pretty soon then.
Good for her!
From what I played at PAX Prime I've got to agree. The gameplay itself just wasn't *fun*. It seemed... below-average, and I enjoyed 'splosion Man and The Maw. I'm kind of surprised that they released this.
Yep, I just checked and I've got mine as well. I have all the Borderlands DLC except for Moxi's
The helmets just add to the silly-factor.
@anduin1: I was about to post the same thing. Hell, I'm a bit lower on the tech job ladder than that guy and I've got a 100k life insurance fund. If I had a wife and kid I'd have at minimum a 250k life insurance fund.
@jdale: No kidding. I like my Pre but it's starting to feel a bit dated, hardware-wise. Give me a high-speed processor in this thing and some more modern hardware features and I will be giddy.
While I agree with your review I think it is sad and perhaps slightly irresponsible to have not found another console to play the co-op on with your wife.
@MOB712: well, let me be clear, it's not the art style itself so much as how it relates to the story.
Without any regard for the story, I must say I am *not* a fan of that art style. It looks very TF2-cartoony, except the tone of the game seems to be serious. It just doesn't seem to fit.
@lacodia: You're utterly wrong. Civil rights of a minority should *never* be put up to a vote by the majority. People like you forget that it wasn't voters who decided that interracial marriages were ok, it was court cases.
@theearin: It has far less to do with forgetting they exist than it does with the complexity of distributing high-end consumer electronics on a global scale. Due to import taxes, VAT, licensing with publishers, and many other logistical problems, it's not at all easy to do.
