Before this went into production there was actually a lot of websites reporting on this script and basically saying right in the summary that Pratt’s character is accidentally awoken and then he is the one responsible for waking up Lawrence’s character because he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life alone.

Sounds more like he is saying the movie has flaws but is still enjoyable and entertaining (both in visuals, character, and moments). It seems like you’re trying really hard to be reductive in order to fit a decision you’ve already made about the movie.
