My initial theory was "Mike downloaded something he shouldn't have" but this works too!

I sure hope so. That scene in the preview with Davos in front of the Mormont house sigil would seem to hint at that. Makes sense that he's rallying support for retaking Winterfell.

Just like the Tower of Joy, there was barely a tease of man ass. This never would had happened on Showtime.

Myles made a pretty good point in the experts review about how delaying the Lyanna reveal might be a better move until the show can fill in the gaps as to why it's so important to Jon's story, especially after leaving the NW. I hope it doesn't take long, though.

I'm not that familiar with this guy so when I read his name in a headline I initially thought it was the doucheface from The Fault In Our Stars, who was also under consideration at one point. I let out a loud UGH but now I'm ok.

Definitely. The story needs him to leave The Wall to move forward. Leaving NW would make him an Oathbreaker (drink!) and would signal a different, less honorable person by itself. So I'm not convinced they need him to take revenge to achieve the Jon 2.0 effect. Again, they could still do it as satisfactory fan

That was my first thought when I read that quote, but I think he’s going to say "you know what, I died so I'm no longer part of the Night's Watch, later dudes!"

I find Ramsay so boring. There is nothing interesting to his character, so one dimensional. Not sure if this is the same as the books or a failing on the show's part.

I think he only has the Karstarks at the moment. He just stated that they only need the 3 biggest ones to defeat the rest.

I think that they understand each other pretty well and are comfortable with their cunning ambitions. Notice that we've seen them interact outside of the office many times throughout the course of the show. So there’s definitely a connection between them on a personal level, even if it doesn’t really translate into fee

Was Pyke featured in the premiere sequence last week? Somehow I think this was the first appearance. I remember fixating on the bridges bouncing up and down when the towers appear. Foreshadowing.

Whenever I rewatch earlier seasons, the Theon torture scenes are sure fast-forwards. Those scenes just make me roll my eyes by now. There really wasn't any need for anything that happened after he called on Walda and the baby. We already knew what would happen.

He came off as even more as a twirling mustache villain in that scene. Perhaps a bit overacted, or just embracing his malevolent role. I liked Jamie questioning him as to "why not me?"

The exciting thing about this is what will come next. It's not that it happened. Im really looking forward to what will transpire the rest of the season after all the obvious plot turns are out of the way.

I dont think she has "feelings" for him at all. It's just that Dan has one of those face you want to kiss and punch at the same time. She's a human woman, dammit!

Agreed. Those Alicia and Peter scenes were the saving grace of this episode. The show did a truly horrible job building up the case against him. I didn't see a reason for him to take a plea based on what we've seen of the case. it all seemed rather circumstantial. One would imagine it would require a really strong

I could have sworn that Cary was going to be the one to drop the bombshell of the case but it all came off so inconsequential. I'm with you and I'm still mad at the way they destroyed the relationships between the 3 original characters for no particular narrative reason at this point. And David Lee is still there

I wonder which wardrobes he had to pick. Wilding coat? Sexy low v cut sparrow robe?

Next week is the Tower of Joy so I expect that to be a major point. Time to clear the air and move forward.

I fist pumped. WUNWUN!
