I found this episode to be far more delicate in its plotting than There Is Currently Not A Problem. Classic "grass is always greener on the other side" situation. It just broke my heart to see Gretchen so happy as she was playing her role in their lives.

After 3 seasons! Perhaps a more apt comparison would be Reign? Just looked at the TV By The numbers and it appears it got 980k viewers, not far off from Jane's numbers. I'm telling you it'd be a huge surprise if it doesn't get a second season.

PS: just checked the updated IMDB page. I recognized the actress who played the detective from The Good Wife. (She played Mrs. ChumHum!)

I need to listen to them at work, where I am most needed for cheering up! Hope they release them at one point or another.

Um, they renewed Beauty and the Beast who was getting about 0.1 on the regular. So don't underestimate the CW.

I honestly just went looking for the show's discography on Spotify just now. To my surprise, they don't have any! Are they really on iTunes? I mean, it'd make sense considering they're on the CW. They need the extra revenue. Still a little bit bummed.

"It's Michael"

I never bought into the sudden change of attitude from Alicia regarding Peter's campaign. Not to mention they retcon Grace's attitude towards the idea from S6 finale. I honestly thought he had already announced, based on the premiere, so I think that's another case of stalling a storyline.

Not sure considering the competency and intelligence of the characters keep changing to fit into the plots. Something they've been doing since last season. I'll be surprised if the case is even or Alicia doesn't win, tbh.

Of course they will! Who care if she's doing Canning's bidding.

I don't think he's ever been a good lawyer. Remember that time he said he had never cross-examined anyone? But yeah, it was probably 50 years, not 30.

You should watch Magic City! It's a pretty good show that introduced me to that intensely sexy gaze.

2 episodes.

I had a completely different reaction to this episode. My final thought was "what was the point of this episode?"

I was amazed to know I still had 100 or so points left, so that's something.

When I was a kid, i couldn't watch Nightmare On Elm street because I was too traumatized by my nightmares about Pet Cemetery and Poltergeist not to take that dreams opening bit as real.

What is going on with networks this season? Blindspot and Dr. Ken are ratings hits. Shows get orders cut but not outright cancellation. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together. MASS HYSTERIA.

Reminded me a bit of that episode last year when they take a helicopter and Holt refuses a codename until he settles for Velvet Thunder.

Thank goodness! I was getting really tired of Eli beating her at everything with such ease. She's supposed to be a big deal nationally. She should win a couple of battles other than putting him in a tiny office.

Was he trying to use her though? He told her outright what the deal was and the reason to ask her something like that. He was looking out for her. Unlike Diane last week, who had her ulterior motive in regards to Canning.
