She was mentioned once in the episode where Bishop threatens to kill Cary. Nothing since then. It's like she never existed. I'd take a throwaway line that she moved back to Oregon or something. Same for Clarke Hayden.

Why was Diane defending Howard Lyman?! Made no sense. "Charming", really?

The scene was way too short to determine whether he was telling the truth or saving face because he's in the closet. I'm just scratching my head at the moment.

That was really disturbing and really disappointing that it was Alicia using that defense. Just shivers.

I caught up with this show recently and I have to say I haven't recovered from the shitty mixup of memories from the finale. I can't seem to trust Allison's POV anymore. I somehow feel that Cole being a complete shell makes more sense than Allison's version of his visit.

I was watching S1E10 Lifeguard in the CBS reruns last night. It was nice to remember the times when everyone had story and scenes, including all of the following:

Your review pretty much hit the spot regarding the firm and the disconnect of these characters. That has been my worry since third way through S6 and they still don't know what they're doing with them? Geez, what a waste of talent. I won't be able to really enjoy this season until they figure that part out.

In retrospect, I should stay away from procedurals. Last year I got burned by Scorpion, it's like I didn't learn my lesson. Sigh. Now Dr. Ken is doing well in ratings? Drop off week can't come soon enough. :-/

I was planning on not watching at all this season but now I must watch the premiere. If this leads me to tuning in to hatewatch every week, I will hold you accountable!

Abbie and Ichabod are now roommates! That's a show right there!

Probably, but with far less POINTS!(tm)

I request they immediately contact Franko before these updates and make him a cancellation associate editor.

This show is really undercooked. The characters and actors are not quite coming together. I kind of feel the show would have been slightly more interesting if they had paired the other brother with the detective. Not by much, mind you, but slightly better.

I debated between this and The Grinder as my Fox pick, I chose poorly. :/

This oddly reminded me of that Maestro episode of Seinfeld…

How else would they be able to complete their Almost Human trajectory?

GODDAMMIT!*

I get that. It's always been the same story. From there to making him a named partner seems like a stretch, considering he was one of the main reasons Diane had to leave her own firm!

Diane used him as a proxy to gain control of the offices back in S6E06.

I don't get the impression they're going that route at all. They seemed to make a point of Cary staring at the associates in mini skirts. Then again, that leads to the question of where exactly is the show going with that scene?
