And Big Bang Theory was only nominated once, as far as I could tell!

It's really bittersweet when one of your favorite shows wins for its most uneven season, but, hey! that's the Emmys for you.

Hey! The back and forth between Tyrion and Daenerys is second best part of that episode.

"Hardhome" won specifically for sound mixing and sound editing. They also won stunts which has to be because of that episode as well. The fact that it wasn't nominated for best directing is baffling.

It really doesn't work where it is now because the guests have to go around and give their back to the audience. That looks terrible on screen for the 45 or so seconds it takes them to sit down. Apparently they don't have a camera to cover the other angle?

I haven't watched this season because I removed Showtime from my cable package late last year but I'm amazed it's hit almost every grade range. Only needs an "F" for the hall of shame fame.

I'm surprised! I thought the Carmichael Show was going to be another Mr. Robison so I decided to skip it. Then good word kept popping on twitter but I thought "Nah, it's a burnoff. What is the point!" *flashes back to Enlisted*

Well, the Supergirl bit was written by Erik Adams. I don't think there is another writer with a more opposite taste. Maybe A. A. dowd, if he's still around.

I said Bitch was the opening skit of the show? Whoa, didn't know that bit since I started watching in S2 and caught episodes arbitrarily on demand. Anyway, that was the skit that turned me into an outright fan. Delighted about the callback!

I'm glad you brought it up because I'm really worried about the role Diane and Cary will play this new season. Don't think I can take an extended version of season 6 - part 2 where it was only about Alicia. Girl, I need space!

Uh… that was the entire point.

His Waze commercial on YouTube was really funny as well. So I'm betting all mandated sponsorships will be fun to watch.

Were those the people on the screens while they were performing? I guessed that was the staff, though it was all a bit weird. The direction in the musical number was a bit rough. According to Dave Itzkoff, they had to perform twice. https://twitter.com/ditzkoff/status/641471250523668480

"Jimmy, please take that down. This is a family show!"

If you ask me, the show really started at the amulet bit. Classic Colbert! Not a big fan of topical opening monologues, though I couldn't help but smile at his evident glee.

Whoa! I missed the start of this! been really checked out of the WOT.

My favorite is stil the Bee Gees one!* When I found that on Tumblr I realized the reason we all need social media.

You think this is a stealth merging of that Paul Feig screenplay where he wanted to get Melissa McCarthy and Jon Hamm together?

Yes, it was probably the same mindset republicans had when they picked Sarah Palin. "Hey, our party puts women in charge! All women will vote for us!"

Oh gosh, yes. What a sad thing seeing that little dinosaur cry! I thought about it when I watched the trailer for The Good Dinosaur.
