The texting scene progressed from a slight annoyance that Kalinda was distracting him from the case to being really moving, as Kayla said. The look on Kalinda's face when he gave her the puppy eyes + sad smile combo slayed me.

They didn't mention it in their review so I message them on twitter and it is possible!
She's his employee. How is she supposed to work under that condition? I doubt something like this is allowed, they're basically asking them to fire Kalinda. Which obviously won't happen, just as obvious as they'll find a way to see each other.
I love the actor and his character is deliciously evil but NO. If he ever comes back to the firm, the show jumps the shark.
- Milk? Why?
- Why not?
I wonder if the Kalinda stipulation is legally sound or just a plot contrivance? Any lawyers care to chime in?
Apparently they presented it to a vote and it went Diane's way. Still, how can she even offer partnership to Howard Freaking Lyman without any say from the other two name partners? This miscommunication will bite them in the ass soon enough.
That's what I'd like to think as well. The whole thing is way too financially risqué for a new firm. One who might even be losing a partner in just a few months.
Yeah, I don't think he went there trying to replace her. Both girls initiated the contact. The second woman made it clear that a lot of other people there knew about his troubles, hence why he was isolated from everyone else before he decided to leave.
So the only time Diane and Cary agree on something is conveniently offscreen? OK!
Yes, not sure if it's been a result of the writers taking this Elsbeth detour in the narrative but I also can't blame Cary for wanting to enjoy something in his life after spending three days in jail.
yeah, I'm with @avclub-e7fa39d54a0132d95edf8819659b6eab:disqus. Some bonus points for us MLS pickers. Ahem.
Oh, I do have Selfie. Thank you very much.
Ok then, he can go hang out with Mike O'Brien, and that other guy from two seasons ago who couldn't cut it in front of the cameras either, back in the writers room.
Not a fan but yeah, I wondered if she had butt injections because the shape was all weird and its disproportionate to the rest of her body. Perhaps one of hose padded spanx.
I have to say I had not seen the video but the performance was insane enough to make it funny. It could have added an extra laugh if they had included a pass at the WU desk with RomCom expert there, though.
I was never whopped or had my parents go to extremes such as "disappointed", but looking at my mom while she vents for something I did always had me in tears by the end. So yeah, I related to poor little Jack. He did look oh-so-cute with a bowtie!
If it doesn't air in the main networks?
The only character that's not working at all for me is Gil, who is aggressively pushed for the outrageous jokes like that awful Andre individual from Mulaney. *shuders*
This episode had way more Happy Endings-style jokes than the premiere, which made me go "awww." The funniest being everyone getting in the car one by one and piling on insults, reminded of that time Max gave Dave a perm and Jane yelled "Temple Grandin!"
