I don't think they've dumbed him down. He is simply not putting in the effort because of the cafeteria job. He's in also in a different level academically, not in a shitty school where teachers would be easily impress, so I think the struggle feels realistic.

I had to pause for a second to associate that John name with a face, so yeah, I'd be surprised if he returns next season. Same for Brooks Wheelan, who's barely been on tv this season, and Mike O'Brien, who is just too awkward on camera. Noel Wells is not good and she's not even needed, considering all the female

To be fair, whenever something weird happens on tv, I whisper "aliens" to myself.

Tip: I usually scroll to the bottom of the advanced reviews to make sure it covers several episodes, otherwise there's not much of a point in reading.

1. If we're going with aliens here, I'd bet the scar on her back might be related. Maybe she was abducted.
2. Until that moment, Julia wasn't sure she'd been actually attacked. Her mind was confused on whether it was real or a dream. Also, I think she had a relationship with Peter and cheated on him with Alan.

The main problem with the resurrection power is that everyone has it. If only Misty had that power, as we were led to believe early on, then it'd be more interesting. Now it's just a crutch to keep bringing characters back. Nothing can kill them so why bother caring.

His glee over the horse outranking Boyle had me rolling.

I liked how the Honorable Sergeant Peanut Butter bowed to the crowd's rapturous reception. He was clearly taken aback by it so I forgive him for relieving himself on stage. Shows you he's still humble.

Yes. I actually quite liked that they referenced tech from 3 other recent sci-fi movie plots in this episode - Gattaca, Minority Report, and Eternal Sunshine - if only because those are 3 of my favorite movies of recent years.

I'm not sure how they jumped to the date conclusion either. Maybe G.W. just wrote it down because something important was meant to happen. We might have our answers next week.

That Estefanía storyline proved there was no where to go with his character. I still think the way he was written out was a bit shitty, though. I would had preferred if he had just left for Michigan.

I have high hopes for Lip this season. I was already at the point of being fed up with his high mightiness (and Karen). It'd be good for him to be knocked down to earth a bit. Not to mention he came from a mediocre school with a low bar.

We totally had one of those sports car rewinders at my house. I loved it because it looked like the Knight Rider crossed with a Delorean. We even kept it around after it stopped working!

Their last crossover episode where Sophia Bush's character was introduced was quite the let down, even though I had already made up my mind about not watching P.D., the characters were simply too flat.

There's one silver lining to this show premiering: no more crossover episodes with Chicago Fire! (which is a show that I surprise myself by still watching it and feeling half-heartedly involved with the characters.)

My guess would be he didn't have time to fully recharge at Rudy's, by the time they were back at the station he was already "moody".

@Dunk My DVR cut off at 9:01 so I missed everything after they found Jessica. According to @DaddysSoulDonut:disqus "And Bob managed to get a hat on King Trashmouth for the end credits fashion show!"

Thanks, stupid football coverage! I missed the end of the episode. Now I have to scavenge the wilds of the internet like a peasant for a screenshot of Little King Trashmouth with his hat.

Some of my resolutions are similar. As far as TV, I'd like to finally watch Deadwood and The Wire. I think that's the reason HBO GO exists, yet I continue to drag this resolution out year after year since HBO GO launched.

I've been on the verge of crying since the marathon started airing at 8pm last night. And that is in no way related to spending new year's eve watching vh1, sir. Just laughter, I swear.
