Yes, I was baffled after reading that in an interview with the showrunners. Why would you limit yourself in such a way? It often just leads to complicated stories taking a shortcut on the third act. It really takes out all the intrigue when you know it will be resolved after the commercial break.

In the end the main issue was the show's commitment to limiting their stories to a single episode. It's Ok to have a cliffhanger here or there, to flesh out some stories.

I hope the "gold digger" part is literal and they work in a "glory hole" joke, to complete the cycle.

Jessica's situation is tricky because Glenn is her agent so she probably feels trapped. She is going through that phase in life when things are not working out but she's not ready to move on (give up) from her dreams. It's been made clear she never got a break as an actress and she's already in the early 30s. We can

Their unwillingness to write him off last season evaporated all my hopes for the show and I'm watching with very low expectations. Brody (and basically his whole family) don't serve a narrative purpose anymore. I am indeed glad they haven't featured him that much. Wish we could say the same thing for his family.

Serious question: does anyone actually miss Brody?

Did you ever watch him on "At the movies"? I think that's just the way he expresses his opinions. There was a nice contrast with Christy Lemire, who has an opposite personality (and taste).

I wonder, is Sundance available in HD through any provider at all?

I caught a rerun yesterday and it feels like it might be enjoyable depending on the guests. It feels like an extended panel from The Jeselnik Offensive hosted by a chipmunk.

I muted my tv.

My favorite part of that sketch was when he mimicked Stimpy walking to him and then throwing him out window. Oh, the details.

The good grade has sent my jaw to the floor, judging by those ads this is the most annoying show in the history of tv. I might have to give in and watch for more than the 2 minutes I dedicated this week.

I used to be a huge fan as well. I never got my CD stolen, but I do remember dragging my dad on a long trip to buy me that CD on a Tower Records. I almost scratched the last 3 songs of the album once and almost freaked. out. Those were the days!

He probably just egged him in a motorcycle drive by.

After this episode, I would rather have the show work on a redeeming arc for Ethan than just get rid of him. It's a great challenge for a TV show to turn around a hated character.

That was Ghost Lori, not Zombie Lori. I'm convinced they created Ghost Lori so there would be a more hated incarnation of Lori.

I don't know what this says about this show, but I yelled "nooooo" when he killed Babe(s) and I know for sure there are so many humans in this show I would not mind seeing in zombie make up. I'm still slightly mad we were deprived of zombie Lori.

That gender comment didn't really register and it feels somewhat incongruous with the praise to the Obama skit that revolved around the same idea.

She's got quite the contender in the "Best/Most Hilarious Realization Of Modern Times Scene" with Ichabod Crane learning the amount of taxes on donuts.

Yup, their intention is so transparent. I was foolish enough to think it would unfold a little faster after last season's admission to Penny about his struggles.
