"ruin his image". I'm glad the priorities are straight, then.

exactly, even from a PR tactical angle it's just colossally stupid.

yeah exactly, the team's PR department taking an active role in 'rah rah, let's circle the wagons with one of our own' and doubling down like this is just abhorrent. And it shows how rotten the NFL culture is on a team as well as a league-wide scale.

"I abhor domestic violence, but" guy

looks like a 13-year-old's sketch of his half-orc AD&D character in the back of his Trapper Keeper circa 1986. With an, um, hat.

"Ceci n'est pas une +1."

"I think if you're any player and you believe that based on this decision that it's OK to go out and commit that type of conduct, I think that's something that I would, [laughs] I would suggest to you that no player is going to go out and do that."

I think this entire list ought to be on a sliding scale, because what's overrated at 19 is very different from when you're 35. (And if you worry too much about "overrated beer" at 19, man, loosen up.)

yeah, this. The "If you don't like IPAs you must lurve Keystone" mentality gets pretty old.

Living in Minnesota...I find a lot of Summit's beers to be pretty overrated. Especially their IPA. Just trying too hard. And this might be sacrilege but Surly is usually overkill; literally calling one of their beers "Overrated" is indeed the ultimate dudebro-beer-culture move.

It's what's called a "mowing the lawn" beer.

I like how if you take out the word "apology" from the title here, it can be used for any episode of First Take. Very zen.

"Rice allegedly hit his then-fiancee with his hand and knocked her unconscious..."

actually, to clarify: this photo was by Earnest Byner, as the iPhone was falling out of his hands.
