Nice gesture, but WalMart bikes are not great bikes.

Keep in mind, the nose is not visible from the cockpit.

The car comes to a stop having driven autonomously at up to 150 MPH and, at 17:25, the media surrounds the car, some standing directly in front of the car. That's some kind of faith in the technology.

One interpretation of events in Canandaigua: Stewart goosed the throttle to shower Kevin Ward in a rooster-tail of dirt, but got the back-end out more then he intended, and ran over the guy he intended to just harass. In other words, he used his car as a tool of aggression and intimidation.

Tony Stewart didn't intentionally back into Keselowski any more than he intentionally went to spray dirt track all over Kevin Ward. Didn't Stewart learn that when you intentionally use your car as a weapon bad things can happen?

We really need to get away from miles-per-gallon and adopt gallons-per-100-miles. Much more useful for doing comparisons. Yes, at higher MPG, a one-MPG difference isn't meaningful. But, down in the low teens, it's colossal.

Not a specific technology, per se, but an approach to manufacturing that makes it cost-effective to upgrade components to the company's most recent technology. I have a 7-year-old BMW wagon. Why can't I easily install the latest iDrive?

When Goodell said he could imagine a scenario under which Rice would return, here it is. The NFL says Rice's indefinite suspension is due to lying about the incident. Rice and the NFLPA prove Rice's story has remained consistent. Basis for the suspension undermined, Rice reinstated.

I think that the NFL is being played by TMZ. The NFL reacts to something in a predictable fashion, and TMZ releases something new that undermines the NFL's reaction.

Big problem with the heritage Ford Thunderbird: Ford recreated the version with the lowest sales volume in T'bird history. There is a reason the '57- '59 roadsters are relatively rare. Not many people bought them.

Before anyone saw the elevator video, what did they think happened? Jeez.

Polarizing E60 5-series:

Disappointed by the euphemizing. Stewart was not "involved on an incident." He was driving a car that ran over and killed someone. Maybe he is not to blame. But let's not treat him like some sort of bystander.

2.07 ERA sounds good, but it's only really impressive if he was markedly better than other AL pitchers. Number 2? David Cone, 3.44 ERA.

Split screen. Keep the live game in one corner. Diagram some piece of the action in another. Americans need to be tutored up on how to watch.

Do not pass on the right. Ice-T did it. R8 guy was about to do it. It's not safe.

Tiny? Seriously?

Depressing nugget from a recent Car and Driver: Chris Bangle drives an X6.

Seems to be missing the hatchiness of a hot hatch.

Nope. This is what the Panamera wants to be when it grows up:
