Actually "no va" means "doesn't go" in Spanish. No lo haré is "Will not".

5. If Jeter did what Middlebrooks did, it would be described as the smartest play in history, regardless if obstruction were called.

Right here, and yes, they are admissible. Each piece of evidence will need to have the proper foundation but the defendant's lawyers will have little difficulty getting these in front of a jury.

She's going for the settlement, the RR driver's insurance doesn't want to fight a high profile case that can be spun to say "you can drive over motorcyclists" so they will settle for low 7 figures.

This makes me so angry. If my daughter was in the back while those losers were trying to punch the window I would have done the exact same thing. In Texas, that shit would never happen. 1) roads are big enough for everyone 2) guns are big enough for everyone as well

"Running over bike riders is in no way justifiable" - I respectfully disagree.

What, what, what, what? A preponderance of evidence? This is a criminal, not a civil matter. His evidence does not have to be more probable that what the prosecution suggests, it just has to provide reasonable doubt.

Yeah yeah save the vitriol... I'm no fan of the NYPD at all (probably called them Fascists a few times myself), but the point is pretty obvious here: prevent copycats. As a lawyer, I have to say that this is a lot of hubub about nothing. Scene: The Texas Longhorns Alumni Center. COLT and RICKY are browsing Deadspin.

The P.A. announcer should have introduced him by saying; "The 3rd baseman, hitting 4th and pleading the 5th, #13 Alex Rodriguez."

Here's Marussia

My reading of the standard baseball contract, see here: collective bargaining agreement, pg. 279, section 3a and pg. 284, section 7(b)(1) is that the player has an obligation to conform to the high standards of personal conduct, fair play and good sportsmanship. If they do not, the club may terminate the player

Try to get a hair sample now, Selig!

Almost everyone I know only watches anymore if a hometown team has the misfortune to be on ESPN. Sportcenter went from being a pop culture icon to the LeBron and Tebow show. They've actively alienated everyone who isn't an NBA fan.

I'm guessing that for most people being responsible for your child's death would be worse than anything the state could do to you.
