Wish my 2016 GTI SE PP had an auto-dimming rear mirror and automatic climate control. 

The fuel gauge and fuel warning light come on too soon in my 2016 VW GTI. I would go with whichever Mercedes convertible is big enough for you and a bike rack. Great for beach and dresses up nice. Has a back seat. E-class would probably work but I would go for a C class. Might even be able to find an AMG within budget.

A more recent issue I’ve noticed in Austin is people not giving a flying fuck about running red lights.  The crossing solid white lines is a thing too.
