I disagree about the interior quality of the Pacifica and Kia. We test drove both and I felt the Pacifica interior was cheap feeling/looking while the Kia’s was the nicest out of all the minivans in this comparison. Lots of soft-touch, high quality materials and good layout. I do agree about the Kia’s gas mileage…

Genesis is doing what Cadillac couldn’t do by building great cars and then pricing them under the competition. (Admittedly, Cadillac doesn’t need to do this with their SUV’s).  They are probably a long way from succeeding but they appear to be on the right track.

A quick search isn’t bringing anything up. So it may be legal to park w/o engaging the parking brake in AZ but don’t quote me on it. Its a good habit to park with brake on. When and if she parks on a hill, it’ll put less stress on the transmission.

Something I didn’t know: it’s illegal in Texas not to engage your parking brake if you leave the vehicle unattended. Trans. Code Sec. 545.404.

Sounds like they are taking a page out of Confessions of andEconomic Hitman. The US basically did the same thing, along with the IMF and World Bank, to developing countries.

They actually jumped the bus on Speed. I don’t know how they got the nose so far up but they definitely jumped it. They just didn’t jump it over a gap like in the movie. The gap was cgi.

Its weird that there were multiple incidents at the Rangers’, Astros’, and Indians’ home games.  I wonder if there is some design flaw (except not having nets) that makes those parks more conducive.
