Doh! I missed Fiat and SEAT. It took me about three minutes to remember how to spell Peugeot and Vauxhall, though.

@Bert Bronaugh: G-Shock is always a great bet, as they're durable and certainly waterproof. If you wanted to move up the food chain a bit to something automatic rather than quartz, Seiko is probably your best bet.
