Speaking of Nintendo products I won't be able to buy, I tried to find the new line of Zelda amiibos that came out this week only to find that they were retailer-exclusive and likely all pre-ordered by scalpers.

I hated how Scott Lang was made into a noble Robin Hood style thief. What's wrong with making him a crook trying to make amends and go straight for his kid? That felt so whitewashed and sanitized, and I hated it.

I saw that and despite my confusion and doubts, said to myself, "surely, these top-notch athletes and their trainers wouldn't be doing something totally dumb and pointless."

I dunno. I bought one once that promised "Nothing Will Be The Same After THIS" right on the cover, and 25 years later, Spider-Man is still pretty much the same.

True.

I get that this bill is an important matter for you - I think any reasonable person would agree that it's important. I certainly think so.

There's no limited amount of bandwidth in human conversation. If you want to talk about health care, go do it. There's probably ten conversations on this website alone (an entertainment website, btw) where you can make that happen.

I'm not sure you know what xenophobia means, then.

I'm not sure how to respond to that.

Between this and an outrageous president named Trump, I feel like God's really phoning it in this season.

She tastes like a burger.

The one vendor's enthusiastic "splewwsh" and "keh-BOOM" while playing the Battleship mini game was great.

I'm sorry, I just have no goddamn interest in watching movie that is ostensibly about the X-Men but actually about Mystique. Shape-shifting is a distant second to her true power of pulling focus.

All of the versions of D&D I ever saw seemed needlessly convoluted. I get that it grew from a very complicated miniature game, and as a nerd I understand that sometimes getting really crunchy with stats and abilities is fun. But for a roleplaying game, it all seemed like a bold step backwards as I saw 4th and 5th

Sad!

Right? I like a music video as much as the next guy, but …
