I was on a "Journey to the West" kick for awhile, really like how the first movie put its own twist on the source material. I particularly liked how Monkey and Pigsy were surprisingly frightening, but the whole thing was still very funny in that Stephen Chow way.

I've never seen any of his other work, and judging an actor by their work in the prequels is a dicey proposition. So thanks for all the comments shouting out to Once Were Warriors, which I hadn't heard of before.

To be fair, considering these kids have been through a lot, most movies are gonna be rather tame to them.

I love the inane logic behind "disagreeing with me/him/us keeps the country divided!"

I guess it's good that, this time, the screenplay seems to have intended to make him a dick?

Heyyyyyyyy, you guys! I think the title might be a pun!

Disturbing, because that slightly larger duck should have also been wearing pants!

California to be forcibly removed from the union after birthing the sushi croissant

Only 20 people? They must have each paid $11,175,000 for their ticket.

Trump and co.: "Hollywood elites should shut up."

"Okay, this time we turn one of our beloved heroes into a fascist, the readers will be sure to like it!" - Marvel writers, apparently

Same. Also, I died on a very early enemy - like maybe the first one - because the motion controls were so goddamn finicky.

I don't think any other video game series would have me even remotely interested, but for Zelda, I'm over here like, "well I could surely spare $40 for this."

Everything seems to be in order here.

I enjoyed a lot of catharsis and satisfaction during Revenge of the Sith watching all of the Jedi get shot in the back.

You're not alone. Naming conventions suggest that the Clone Wars was indeed a fight against, or between, clones. I think early sources suggested that the Clone Wars were between the Republic and the Mandalorians, implying the latter were using clones somehow.

Good points there. Seems like it can be two things!

I liked it too, though I felt like it was trying a little too hard to be grown-up. If it had put more effort into its characters, I might agree with you, but I get it.

That's fair.
