Addendum: Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine was also excellent.
There's the current children and the yet-to-be-born, but I'm sure we can ruin theirs in real time.
Hey, just because America the nation might end up an irredeemable dumpster fire in real life doesn't mean our idealized fictional personifications aren't still fighting the good fight!
Also, "Sonic or Mario" is a great interview question: people who say "Sonic" without qualifiers are clearly masochists and may need genuine help. Poor bastards.
I generally save my movie outings for big spectacle films like "Doctor Strange." But this one has a cast that's so likable I might force myself to find the time.
Boy oh boy, there's no shortage of things in 2016 about which I'd love to hear Dorothy Parker's take.
It kinda reminds me of that monologue that Dr. Zola gives in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" about how you have to make people give up freedom willingly.
Ha! Touche.
Comedy shows that do political comedy generally have to be funny first. I'm speculating, but I think they likely put the emphasis in the wrong place.

It's funny how that works. I re-watched it with a friend who'd never seen it a few years back, and he couldn't stop laughing. Suddenly, things that I'd always found creepy - like Hannibal Lecter already standing, completely still, in the center of his cell when Clarice first comes to see him - were deeply, powerfully…
The unfortunate part of this news is that the creators will take this as some form of political censorship, when I think we all know it's mostly because their show just wasn't funny.
You just have to start on the right number. Like, "Three, four, five, six! Screw you white supremacists!"
Having an open mind is generally a prerequisite for success in the arts and entertainment. Not always, but usually.
It's been a long time coming. The occasional prestige drama like "The Obamas" was never going to be enough to carry them.
I love the idea of someone being worried that Donald Trump, a man who makes millions just by letting other people put his name on their buildings, *might* sell out.
