Hahaha, I see your point, but I don’t think an employer’s concerns with drugs should be limited to safety.

But the NFL also disciplines people for alcohol if you end up in their alcohol abuse program. See Matt Prater back in 2014.
While I believe pot should be legalized, I have zero problem with football players being punished for smoking, even if it isn’t performance enhancing. Plenty of occupations require randomized drug tests because drugs can affect your ability to do your job. If the NFL is concerned about the product they put out, why…
This is easily the most reasonable discussion on this article so far. +1 just for starting it.
Nothing about that case says that if the person who recorded the program dies then the tape must be destroyed. The recording still clearly made for in-home personal use and (until it is sold) is still only being used for in-home personal use.
I can’t wait for the day people realize trademark and copyright are two completely different areas of law with completely different rights. Alas, a man can dream.
Totally agree. Because there’s such thing as fucking “normal body.”
So are poor arguments. You said Bristol would “never” call a beat reporter from a North Florida newspaper. I used evidence to show that ESPN has hired a beat reporter from the exact same newspaper; I never said this meant O’Halloran would be hired. I just pointed out you clearly don’t enough know shit about the North…
Yeah, ESPN never hires its reporters from the local media. Makes sense.
Clemons is the ass. Hasn’t produced since he was signed and actually gets beat to the QB by the inside linemen, when he even gets off his stance at all. Worse, he missed most of the offseason with no explanation on a team that had won a total of 7 games the previous two years combined. He’s one of the highest paid…
Most of this is right...but our LB corps is terrible. There’s little to no depth and Telvin is the only one that can cover worth a damn. Skuta and Poz are great at stopping the run, but can’t cover a TE to save their lives; when they’re out, it only gets worse. Not to mention how old Poz is getting.
I’m the biggest Jags fan around, but Bortles is still throwing at around a 57% completion rate, which is atrocious. I’m loving the TDs, but he’s still making a lot of mistakes and poor reads. But he’ll get there.
The amount of people who didn’t catch the sarcasm makes me a bit sad.
FWIW, every league I’ve ever been in has wild cards for the playoffs. The point of the divisions is to win the division and get a first-round bye (assuming you have first round bye-weeks). After that, playoff spots go to whomever has the best record.
I know, man. I’ve been trying to quit cigarettes for the longest time.
I get it now. You don’t understand how the internet works. Adorable. It’s a big place, don’t hurt yourself!
Yup. But I would imagine the Ref CBA says something about the NFL not being able to suspend without pay.
There were actually two. But it was cute of you for trying.
Wait... you mean to tell me wealthy children went to college and still became wealthy adults? Well, I’ll be damned.
Yawn. Let me know when they start starving pledges for votes.
