Very cool site! And a very beautiful one as well. Definitely a good one for everything from interior design to us photo dorks and design geeks who think about color palettes and fonts. I like that it includes the color numbers and lets you download swatches. It's more than just cool...I can see myself using this.

Earning potential and career stability are certainly things you want to consider, but really... I wouldn't choose my career or my major based on these factors alone. Some people who do end up hating their careers, or at least finding them tolerable without being satisfying. If you're passionate about something that

Great timing for us Spring Cleaning stragglers and as good an approach to decluttering as any I've read. My wife and I have as many words for crap we don't need as Eskimos have for snow.

I grew up bicycling and bicycle racing in the deep South. Thankfully I was not pedaling with a thermometer jammed up my rectum, but it was often extremely hot and humid. I got used to it and even preferred cycling in hot weather to cycling in cold weather. I would tell myself to take it easy on days where the temp was

I would hope most buyers would notice such a large fee and walk away from the table, but a lot of dealers will take advantage of a shopper's lack of financial savvy... especially when they know the person's credit is poor and that they may not have a lot of options when they need a car. They know some will just accept

Right... you definitely want to turn the fish over. Another approach with meats that require more heat (like a thick pork chop) is to sear quickly on one side in the pan, flip it, and then pop it into a hot oven to continue cooking. You typically wouldn't need to do that with fish.

I will say that since I wrote my earlier comment Evernote has improved the stability and performance of their iPhone app, and now that I am using an iPhone 4 (was using a 3G when I wrote the above comment), I find the Evernote app performs very well. It no longer takes me 30 seconds or more to bring up a recipe when

I wonder if it was just a difference in coloration over time because the vinyl prevented oxygen and light from getting to the paint it covered up? Kind of the way a table runner will protect the middle of the table, while the rest of the table gets slightly faded over time (at least if it's by an open window).

I would start with my favorite interview response from Office Space: "The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care."

Not in my area :-(

I like your "Don't get angry, get even" approach to dealing with a difficult fellow passenger.

I live in Bellingham which has the same set of fears but with Mt. Baker looming over as our active volcano instead of Rainier. I was surprised to see the Puget Sound area listed as such a low risk. I'd like to think that we're not at risk, but evidence is to the contrary. I guess it is because so much time has passed

I live in Bellingham, WA...which is #3 on the Lowest Risk scale (right behind Mt. Vernon and Anacortes which are just 30 miles to the south). We're really a low earthquake risk given the nearby faults? What about volcano eruptions? Mt. Baker is an active volcano just an hour or so drive to the East of Bellingham. If

Back in my day (the 90s) at New Years Eve parties we drank shots of obscure high proof alcohol that our friends brought back from Eastern Europe! I'm pretty sure it was mostly paint stripper packaged in bottles and sold to gullible American college students. The taste was vile and it burned like hell, but that's the

Good advice. I've lived in a number of places, including a couple of large cities. The important thing is to give it time. Don't expect to feel like a local within the first year. It takes time to meet people, form lasting friendships, and really learn how to adapt and thrive in a new environment. Definitely put

I just threw up in my mouth a little. Jolly Rancher flavored Vodka? Is this really what the kidz are drinking these days?

We've been testing Hulu Plus, Netflix and Amazon with thoughts of dropping cable TV. In addition to the big three, we can also watch Youtube through our Roku player.

My iPhone, but I'm rarely without that anyway. I usually have a book with me as well (unless I'm reading a book on my iPhone) and a magazine. Flying is a great time to read magazines I wouldn't normally buy. And no I'm not talking about the naughty magazines! Who reads those on a flight? I'm talking about mags I

Ah that's better! Thanks for the tip. Just a little boost up to 20pt did it for me. I probably still need bifocals though.
