Most of them didn't get what they wanted. Feminism shouldn't even be noticed, its just part of the overall theme. Mike ended up with a desk job and thought he was going to be king. Dodd thought he was going to be king and Peggy was his demise. Bear thought he was going to save the family & was its savior, died for it.

Well it wasn't a small accident she hit someone with a car and drove with him still stuck in the windshield. He was then stabbed and was deep frozen by Ed. Thats a pretty big freaking deal actually.

Now want to go back and rewatch S1.

Safer than the other Gerhardts. Don't forget about Dodds other daughters the ones that ran off.

Well… it was him or Mike and well Mike would be a bigger stretch.

*sigh* as a woman so sick of women now having to be arsekickers in every finale or its misogyny. Hank got himself shot and knocked out a few times Lou saved his butt but don't recall anyone talking about ageism.

The king of breakfast will return in S3 as the CEO of a 24hr breakfast chain.

Yep…goes back to the rock pushing. All of us are pushing rocks but some of us are foolish enough to think you can stop and pick up the pebbles. That rock is rolling on top of you if you stop pushing it. Happiness is chosen.

Did you actually watch the finale?

There was the UFO/Alien reference (and Lou's statement). Subtle but it was there.

Hanzee, aka Tripoli, done gone and f'ed up with those 2 from the start.

Didn't you read the name on the SS card? It didn't say Hanzee junior.

The whole rant just noticed she made no mention of seeing the UFO. So she just hit Rye, didn't hit him because she saw the UFO. She just hit him with her car. Also, note Lou liked the role of pushing the rock, accepted it. That is why he was emotionally & rationally stable. We're all rock pushers some just learn to

Sending out incompetent Rye is what started it all, well that and the Aliens. Yeah they are just as much to blame as Peggy.

Tripoli making a bad decision from the start with those 2.

Betsy's dream may have something to do with it? The dream looked to be current when the new season is supposed to take place.

She was a wife bear and shows she is protective of him. Her returning after she almost departed and giving him the money showed she loved him but that "Hey" was her defending him. This whole time, maybe Peggy has been protecting Ed as much as he has been protecting her.

Enough bodies you could stack them to the 2nd floor.

Well whatever it is they have it in for the Gerhardts.

Funny how a lot of actors wanted to be in TD season 2. Thats going to be reverse next season. TD 3 may not attract bigger stars & Fargo will be the hot ticket for bigger stars.
