I was mixing cheap tequila with mountain dew in college well over a decade ago. Where’s my medal?

Yout know what’s awesome? My Sega Saturn analog controller (which I think predates the N64 by a little) still works perfectly after 25 years. Although I used that stick waaay less than I used my N64 one so thats probably why.

Don’t feed the obvious trolls.

You really enjoy putting your poorly thought out words into other peoples mouths. It’s a bit weird.

That’s a bit of a bummer. Nuclear Throne and Luftrausers are great games.

This is peak asshole behavior.

Way to take an article about a cheesy Killer Instinct album waaaay too seriously.

My B6 had 5 different levels of seat heating! My GS? Only 3. It was the lowest key luxury car, but I’m glad I got rid of it before the timing chain blew everything up.

Yeah I saw that there were a couple of pre-orders. I’m employing a bit of hyperbole, but really I’d be genuinely surprised if they sell much more than 1,000 units to actual consumers post hardware launch. Especially after the newer gameplay showcases they’ve put out which amount to a handful of games that look about

When they sell less than 1k units he may change his mind.

Mega Man 3

Switching from dark roast to light-medium roast was the most pivotal moment in my coffee drinking life. Single origin stuff has ruined me and made my taste buds snobbish.

It’s an ugly Subaru Crosstrek.

If this has an arcade perfect version of Virtua Fighter they will get my money.

Of course he’s not wrong to tell them to fuck themselves. But it’s also not sleazy to privately ask for comment before publishing. It’s an email. It can be ignored, or you can fire back a “fuck you”. Either is acceptable.

I absolutely get that it comes off as distasteful to the grieving, but from the reporters side it would be negligent to not reach out for comment and confirmation. It also gives friends and family an opportunity to shape the public reporting of their loved ones passing if they wish.

Right, like every media company in the world, it’s reporting on the death of a public person in it’s realm. This is how media works.

If I was in Andy’s position I’d likely be hurt too. But in the end, if you are going to be reporting on the death of a public person, asking friends and family for comments they may want shared is more respectful than not. Even if the comment is "fuck you".

Which isn’t what happened. They sent an email asking for comment.
