Yeah, no. Simple monochrome is king. The sooner we all embrace it, the sooner the world will be at monochrome peace. Colorful icons are an archaic, garish eyesore.

No one gives a shit about material design. It’s nice that Google is trying to unify their look, but seriously, flat monochrome icons are better in every instance.

Icon packs are often incomplete (the one I use is). A standard monochrome alt skin would be much better and, I think, widely used.
