Too much delta-v required to get there in a reasonable time frame and then stop. It would take a lifetime (probably more) to insert something into orbit around a body that small so far away.

It was broadcast on ESPN and didn't even make the front page of espn.com. A story named "Pacquiao welcomes Tebow to training camp" did though. Sports!

Logan Stieber became the 4th person in history to with 4 NCAA D1 wrestling titles tonight. That's impressive.

If the Brown gets out from the bottom position he gets a 1 point escape which would have tied the match and sent it into overtime. Wilps clearly did not want to try his chances in overtime.

I second this.

Sue was probably in Ms. Pac-Man.

I just had a gamelight. Well worth it.

My OG Droid was a daily driver for almost 3 years without a case. Dropped it a million times and it just has a couple dings in the frame. I cannot say the same about any other phone I've owned before or after. (aside from maybe my Ericsson SH888 but that was more a large brick of plastic than a phone)

The original Motorola Droid. I bought it at launch. I was convinced I needed a physical keyboard coming from a Samsung Alias. The keyboard was used maybe 5 times. The wonderful part was that I thought all my friends with iPhones were so stupid until I got my Droid. Then I understood. I was 25.

He may be, but he's also correct.

You know, I totally forgot about the goblin mechs in Warcraft 3. I didn't play it nearly as much as I played 2. There was something about the switch to 3D that angered me as a teenage game snob.

Are fans of the series upset that camera technology was shoehorned into Warcraft lore in this fashion? (unless photographic tech has previously been a part of the WoW universe in which case I withdraw the question)

Yeah, that's how it works on my galaxy S3, but it's kind of a terrible implementation. A swipe up from the bottom of the screen is more elegant, and far quicker.

Don't forget that space and time are two sides of the same coin in a cosmological sense. Given the finite and constant speed of light we can fairly accurately determine it's age relative to the beginning of the universe. It's all about that red shift. This is without getting into comoving distance and proper distance

If Samsung would just ditch that goddamn home button this might be a lovely phone. On screen buttons damn it. How many years has it been since Android standardized this? I wonder if the google now gesture works with a home button like that, anyone know?

$30 is a bit much when you can find more or less the same thing on amazon for under $5.

I always cringe when I see people bench with a shirt. It's actually kind of terrifying how far you can push your muscles with just a bit of extra tension support.

99% of all Five Nights at Freddy's youtube fodder is terrible. This, however, is well done. I smiled on a Monday morning which is good enough.

I feel like Kerbal Space Program is being made specifically with me in mind. Building rockets? Complicated space missions? Exploration? Explosions? Yes. Every update feels like a gift. It's a little weird actually.

I've been wanting to build a mini-itx case out of an old wooden radio or something similar. There should be more wooden pc cases available.
