Indeed, but given that the single player campaigns in those games are mindless slogs I just find it odd. Full disclosure, I haven't tried a lot of CoD games but the multiplayer in black ops 1 & 2 was captivating. Haven't bought Arma III yet (waiting for a sale) but I did enjoy the shit out of Arma II.
The single player is what's playable in CoD games? Are there really people that actually drag themselves though terrible CoD campaigns and then skip playing with actual people?

What's nice about playing it on PC is that there are minimal children playing (at least in the US) Lots of Russian and German kids though currently playing BO2

I was under the impression that deep field images we purposely focused on tiny patches of sky specifically devoid of foreground stars. Wouldn't a foreground star at this exposure length be incredibly brighter than anything else in the image?
It's a galaxy of some sort. The diffraction spikes around it aren't really there, just artifacts of light on the mirror.
