Honestly, imo, it is really redundant to have a texting plan on a smartphone, and yet I see so many people do it. Why do I say this? Because email is free. Smartphones all need data plans now, so email is very accessible. What about those with no data plans and use dumbphones with texting? then use your email to send

This app is kinda funny. I'm monitoring the clock speed, and yeah, what it does is essential what Vista did with power saving mode on, it downclocks the processor to the lowest step. One 7 this is a bit different, it's a bit more on demand in 7, and from my experience I get a little less time on 7 with my battery than

Only times I have so many tabs open is when I'm going through my feeds, I just open all the tabs I want, or doing some sort of research. This has lead me to use the Quick Tab view of Internet Explorer 7/8 (Ctrl+Q) to be more productive.

almost vomited when I saw those two other pictures below the posts... now that's how you lose weight.

Uh... I don't like lemonade.... so when life hands me lemons, I sell them to a person who likes lemondade, and I'm rid of them, and did something still productive out of them. :D

As mentioned the rubber kitchen dish gloves work pretty well, and usually families have oodles of these? What my mom did is cut off the sleeve end of it to keep just for jars pretty much. Of course dish was before disposing of over used dish gloves.

Hmm maybe an invisible sheild free alternative? I might try it on the body of my phone.

Thought I'd throw this out there, same post as replied to TheFlyingFish, but it might be hidden from view for other readers.

@TheFlyingFish: Here's an easier method, you can assign this to any folder.

Engadget just ran into some of the latest drivers that give it officially without modded drivers or software needed. Working on my dv5t, where previous moded drivers wouldn't work. [www.engadget.com]

Vista got flack for 'not" having the ability to resize pictures, because the PowerToy from Microsoft wasn't compatible, but functionality was still there in the Windows Photo Gallery, which also has made it's way to Windows Live Photo Gallery, which usually is always overlooked because of it being a Microsoft product.

It's quite true, messy environments always tend to not be productive for myself, and this is a great tip that usually is forgotten. It's just like a computer, you gotta reformat every once in a while, then use your maintence software to keep things tidy around, deleting loose files, and clearing out the ram via

Probably won't make it to anything 3G and below, bummer. Multitasking on the iPod Touch 2G is a pain in the butt jailbroken, just not enough RAM. One can hope though Apple can make this happen though. Might satiate my appetite before the Courier.

I had mine on the left. It makes more sense these days to put the taskbar on the sides because of all the widescreen resolutions. We tend to read more from top to bottom, than left to rigth, and thus vertical resolution is much more valuable than horizontal resolution. Also, when using features in Windows 7 such as

Definately agree, nothing beats learning the basics of photography through presets and manual control. I value those over having HD video and touch screen controls; they're nice, but only if the rest of the camera is solid in what it's suppose to do, take still photos.

@SDreamer: Jumped the gun a bit early. If you subscribe to it, you do get the full feeds, but the preview before subscription is excerpts.

I tried the VIP feed, but I'm getting the excerpt feeds instead still.

Don't forget Windows Mobile has transcriber support too! That usually comes standard with it (I know it did in my 6.1 rom).

How useful is this? Isn't this just the equivilent of adding bookmarks? I assume if you star the site to see it first on your results, it's because you visit the site often and want to see it up on top so you don't have to fish through the results to find it. So... isn't this more work to get to a site you usually go
