Boy everyone’s sarcasm detector must be off..... notsomethingstructural is a veteran commenter haha

I’m not sure you follow me, he’s being paid for his expertise. This isn’t hard.

You’re good

What do you think is supposed to be funny about withholding a source? This is about ethics

It’s probably LaVar Ball you idiot

I mean if they don’t pay the point guard why should they pay this person

Why single out Duke? None of the schools pay their players.

I’ll give him credit, he’s not even clever about *trying* to hide his lefty leanings. Half the time I read his pablum I have to shift my head far to the right just to read his ramblings vertically.

Was part of the Gawker Union contract to not allow them to fire their bloggers for writing 120% of their blogs about how great unions are?

I’d support unionization if there was any evidence that quality of writing would increase. We have Gawker as a template that it doesn’t.

You only have integrity if you agree with me!

AND put “progressive values” into the same breath as “journalistic integrity.” So much for claiming to be unbiased anymore.

Unions have the best interests of the Union, but the Employee, in mind. Unions seek to grow membership just as corporations sell to grow revenue. Anything employee related becomes an afterthought.

Are you seriously suggesting buzzfeed should unionize to maintain journalistic integrity??

Christ man. Give it a rest.

But why couldn’t they shoot the trigger off his gun instead?

There’s also not a single industry that unionizes in which eventually the Union represents only the Union itself and not its employees it’s supposed to represent and “protect”.

“In 2015, as our industry was just beginning to unionize, Peretti told his employees that a union “wouldn’t be very good” for them. “

He then built a list with animated gifs from his favorite TV shows so the average employee could relate.

I lol’d Hamilton Nolan referred to himself, Gawkermodo, and the BuzzFeed list jockeys as “journalists”

lol forgive me
