Cap's costume is a representation of the flag, not the actual flag.

I kind of lost patience with the Nolan series. Too much meandering and not enough guests. But I will probably keep going with it for the good parts.

He doesn't look a thing like John Rhys Davies.

Google can't afford to hire decent security and work with the police?

Hey everyone. Just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and to let you know it looks like my wife just needs a lot of antibiotics, and will be sleeping over in hospital. If we are parting ways from here, folks, at least it is with appreciation for you as both people and fans.

If it's cheaper and tastes good, I don't care much.

There was Heeb Magazine. But it could have been called White Jewish Male and it still would have been awful.

I plan to stick it out with Kinja. As look as these columns exist, I will be around. This is pretty much my only place to discuss comics these days. But…

I love Ben. The big lug with a heart of gold, more of a brain than he will ever admit, and the tightrope he walks between man and monster. That he's also a New York Jew, Kirby's self-insertion, is just a bonus.

It seems to be the big event of the week, with nearly universal raves and all. But I am reserving judgment for now. There was something about it that was a bit offputting. Not bad. Just really odd in a way that might end up being hard to read.

Could be a bit better. My wife had yet another procedure for her kidney stones, even though the one last month was supposed to be the last. But this one seems to have finally licked them. Which is good, but the fever she had at 1 am was not good. Her temp seems to have gone back down, but we are monitoring (me at

The Practice. Peak David E. Kelley, whose work has not really adjusted too well to the 21st century. But that show was so very 90s and at the same time seemed to be paving the way for a shift in how legal dramas were done. By people other than Kelley.

I literally just heard this on the Podcast of Terror. Taped two weeks ago.

The Sweet Hereafter was one of the most depressing things I ever saw, but i can't argue it wasn't well made. But never make me watch it again.

I manage to watch maybe 20 in a given year. The idea that there are 514 more is mind boggling.

"Kronk, how DID we get here?"

I am paying attention to this despite not being much on either sport, and despite having a general dislike for both men. I think it will be the thematic sequel to Mayweather-Pacquiao, ten rounds of Floyd bobbing and weaving and being the dullest boxer of his time. But it would be rather interesting if somehow Floyd

Baker is very good, but he's doing a great impression of Hamill. So I would sort of rank him in a different way. Bennett, DiMaggio, and Kevin Michael Richardson each took new approaches. (I dock points from Richardson for being stuck doing good work with a bad script on The Batman.)

I used to like his stuff a long time ago, if only because I agreed with his assessment of the Middle East. I suspect if I re-read those columns, I would see what a jerk he was even then.

The best Aquaman ever!
