I don’t know what it says about BMW, but I have a 2009 335i that needed almost this exact parts/repair list at 93,000 miles.  And, a low pressure fuel pump, parking brake shoes, windshield washer motor, fuel injectors, coil packs...okay, I _DO_ know what it says about BMW...dang it.

It’s like driving a 2014 VW Jetta base 2.0.  115 HP, now WHP!  I know this because I was stupid enough to buy one for my daily commuter...the VW, not the 190.

So, Russia has finally matched the US’ 30 year old subs...awesome!  :)

I assume you haven’t ever ridden in a Taxi in the UK?  Those guys do whatever-they-want MPH.  80 MPH, or whatever the equivalent KmPH would be would only serve as a suggestion...to whoever might actually listen to suggestions on the highways there!

I owned two, a Metro and a Tracker 4 door.  The tracker was sooooooper weak, the Metro, with it’s 3 cylinder was pretty horrible as well, turn on the A/C only when going down hill at 60+ MPH.  But...at the time, they did the job.

We should fire up an online fund raising campaign for David!  He needs to spend someone else’s money to get it where it needs to be...otherwise his historically cheap nature will be in question!

I now have Cougar wood!  What a beauty!

Technically, mine wasn’t lost, so it wasn’t really a “find”, but it did sit in a garage in Ohio for 20+ years.

I’m not sure why, but I had no idea these came with vinyl tops.  For some reason, I though they were normal painted.  Maybe the ones I have seen had them taken off and repainted due to them being toast?  Ok...someone chime in here, were they made both ways, or ?

Drove one of these when my car was in the shop for repairs for two weeks...my wife rode with me one day and her thoughts were “Uh...I really don’t like this car, it’s WAY too close to the action for me!”  I think the main thing that scare her was how short the front end was and how close it was to everything...even

Take a star you glorious bastard!  :P

I had this car in the turquoise blue...got a ticket in Oklahoma doing 90 in a 75 in it...the officer asked if I had a death wish!  HAHA!

This one isn’t mine, but I had one nearly exactly like this...color, wheels and all. I loved this stupid thing!

Clearly you haven’t driven a 2014+ VW Jetta base model. 115 HP as measured well above the top of the car somewhere, and a transmission that shifts like an AR15 shoots on full auto.

Fan-freakin-tastic picture!

I have a nephew who drove one of these until about 6 months ago...it is still running, though has some issues with A/C and Heater not working.

Stromlinien is German for Streamline.

I have the same affliction...I neeeeeed odd, different or sometimes stupid cars to restore. I am documenting my latest here on Kinja. Link.

I must be missing some joke or something here...I see no video.  at all.

I live in both Texas and Florida...Texas has NOTHING on Florida!
